Applying attachment theory to better navigate modern day dating

Sage Therapy Chicago is happy to announce a new group for Women between the ages of 18-30 and who are currently navigating modern day dating and relationship dynamics.

Purpose & Goals:

The purpose of this group is to provide a space for members to gain a better understanding of their own attachment styles and how it affects their approach to dating. Gain confidence in talking through these experiences in a group setting with supportive peers!

Topics will include but are not limited to:

  • What attachment theory is and why it matters
  • Learning about your own attachment style and what you are attracted to in others
  • How to gain understanding of how attachment style impacts your approach to the current dating environment
  • How to gain more insight into yourself and learn how to work with your own attachment style
  • How to better manage stress and anxiety related to dating
  • Creating a safe place to open up and learn about dating as well as support and connect with others
