Overview

Our Grief and Loss therapy group offers support for adult women experiencing grief due to the loss of a parent/guardian. This group provides a supportive space for participants to grieve openly and encourage emotional healing by sharing similar experiences.

Purpose and Goals of this group

The loss of a parent is life-altering and our goal  is to provide a supportive space for participants to openly grieve and connect through similar shared experiences. The group will foster openness as well as psychoeducation, normalization, connection, and coping mechanism support.

Topics will include but are not limited to:

Resources concerning self-care and the grief process in addition to: 

  • The grief process: How to approach it ourselves and with others
  • Resources concerning self-care,  healthy coping and mindfulness
  • Psychoeducation, normalization, connection
  • Responses to grief and loss
  • Reduced isolation,  intentional connection and coping mechanism support

Aubrey Lee, MA

Aubrey is a masters level Counselor. She earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology

Mondays 7:00pm-8:30pm

Every Other Week
