Mental Health and Wellness

Mental health is a topic many of us hear about often, but we may not actually know how to take care of our minds or what it even means to work towards mental wellness. In this workshop, the facilitator provides an overview of what we mean when we discuss mental health and ways participants can start to develop strategies for tending to their mental wellness. This workshop is a great primer for people new to topics around mental health.

Topics Will Include:

  • Defining mental health and wellness
  • Understanding the link between mental and physical health
  • Identifying the link between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
  • Discussing how negative thought patterns impact our moods and how we can address them effectively
  • Learning ways to build up healthy coping strategies

Workshops can be tailored to specific organizations and groups. Workshops can also include space for Q&A with the facilitator(s).
