Anxiety management and DBT Skills
Our group is for high school students who are navigating the experience of being a teen today! Utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills and anxiety management tools, this group provides a safe space for members to process their experiences, relationships and any school related anxiety they may be feeling.
My name is Savannah and I work with adolescents and teens just like you! My goal for this group is for members to build a toolbox of coping strategies to utilize in their lives when there are moments of stress or challenging relationships.
Our support group creates a safe space for members to learn about and practice anxiety management and DBT coping skills. The DBT skills we will focus on are based on the 4 pillars of DBT skills, which are interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and mindfulness. These are life-long skills and help improve relationships, build a greater sense of self, communication and confidence.

I see adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, identity challenges, low self-esteem, relationship concerns (familial, friendship, romantic etc.) and those struggling in different areas of life like school related anxiety, “quarter life crisis” or emerging adulthood.
