“I strive to make therapy a welcoming, collaborative, respectful, and non-judgmental experience catered to each client's needs “

Why I became a therapist

After an undergraduate degree in theater followed by many years in the start-up world, I felt a pull to move toward a more authentic and personally meaningful career. I was inspired to be a therapist because of my own experience with therapy, which was a powerful force in helping me gain the courage to be myself. I understand how validating and freeing it can feel to be seen. Often, feeling understood opens the door to discovery, hope, possibility, and action – something that I hope to lead my clients toward as well.

Who I work with

I work with adults and adolescents on a wide range of topics. I’ve worked with individuals with a variety of experiences and challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, Autism, life transitions, relationships, and identity formation. I'm particularly passionate about working with divergent and creative thinkers who are curious about learning more about themselves, their values, and their unique worldview in order to increase self-awareness and reach their goals.

Working With Me

My clients describe me as warm, authentic, empathetic, and down-to-earth. I strive to make therapy a welcoming, collaborative, respectful, and non-judgmental experience catered to each client's needs. I work from a person-centered approach and will incorporate skills from different modalities, like CBT, DBT, and ACT, when it makes sense for you. Together, we'll look at the challenges you're experiencing and get started on what matters to you most. Therapy is meant to be dynamic so our sessions and your goals might evolve as you do. I believe there’s so much meaning to be discovered beyond words and get excited about incorporating all kinds of activities and formats into the therapeutic process. Music, poetry, art, movement, video games, nature, crafting, movies, podcasts, etc. – if it’s important to you, it’s important to me! Therapy can feel like a big deal – I try to make it as approachable and human as possible.
